Alvaro d' ors: una aproximacion a su obra

Abstract

This article presents both a brief biography of this great Spanish jurist, who died a year and a half ago, and a description of his multifaceted scientific personality — which led him to devote himself to the Roman law, papyrography, epigraphy, law theories, political theories, canonical law, and laws granted by charter. Besides, emphasis is put on D’Ors’s academic teaching profile and on his work as a translator.
